Mues Design

German born Melanie Mues lives and works in London. She set up East London studio Mues Design in 2002.

Her work spans from magazine and book design, illustration, GALLERY communication AND ART-EDUCATION graphics, exhibition identities to exhibition and furniture design. Melanie’s clients include Tate, Tate publishing, Hayward Gallery, Hayward Publishing, Phaidon Press, Whitechapel Gallery, Laurence King, Victoria and Albert Museum, Arts Council England, Archive of Modern Conflict, Thames and Hudson, Royal Mail, Centre National de l’audiovisuel Luxembourg, Serpentine Gallery, Fishbar, Nobody, National Gallery Canada, Cahier Du Cinema and teNeues.

Melanie has co-lectured with Robert Violette at Nottingham Trent University and the London College of Fashion and has lectured for MA Graphics at the Hochschule Burg Giebichenstein Halle, Germany.

Awards include: Tokyo Art Directors Club, D&AD, Design Week, Arles Best Photo Book of the Year, PhotoEye, Vogue Italia Best Photo book of the Year and French Union of Cinema and Television Critics for Best Book on Cinema.
