BROOKS ENGLAND has been a British household name and cycling icon for 150 years. To celebrate this anniversary, we designed a book in true BROOKS style. Contributors include: Bella Bathurst, Antony Cairns, Geoff Dyer, David Millar, Martin Parr, Laura Quick, Sir Paul Smith and Richard Wentworth.

Fun fact: Did you know that the Brooks leather saddle was invented, when in 1878, the factory owner J.B. Brooks saw himself in the lurch when his trusted transport to work, his horse, died. He had to ride his friend’s bicycle instead and was appalled at the discomfort of the wooden saddle. So he quickly designed the leather one with the iconic three holes. The saddle has not changed shape ever since.
