Northern Lights showcases around 70 landscape paintings from artists working in the geographical area that is defined as the Boreal Forest. Around the key artists like Hilma af Klint and Edvard Munch one finds lesser known artists like Anna Boberg, Emily Carr and Gustaf Jfaestad. The unique atmosphere of the North is reflected in the colours of this book and papers used. Special sections are featuring the biographies of the chosen artists as well as the site specific digital commission of Boreal Dreams by Danish artist Jakob Kudsk Steensen.
